This policy describes how the iOS app "OAZUKE" (the "App") handles user information. The provider of the App is referred to below as the "Operator".

1. Information stored on your device

The following information is stored on your device. Unless you use the friends feature, it is never sent to any external server.

• Your OAZUKE history (start times, durations, and the snacks you have made)
• In-app progress such as your collection, badges, and sticker placements
• The name, bio, and photo you set on your profile page
• App preferences such as themes

This information is deleted from your device when you delete the App.

2. Information sent when you use the friends feature

Only when you use the friends feature, the following information is stored on servers managed by the Operator and made visible to people you have mutually accepted as friends.

• An anonymous user ID and an automatically issued friend code
• The name, bio, and icon image you set on your profile page
• Your fridge decorations (sticker placements and any photos you attach)
• Summary statistics of your OAZUKE history (total time, perfect sessions, streak, and number of snacks collected)
• A push notification token used to notify you of friend requests

Icons and photos are stored on external cloud storage and served from URLs that are impractical to guess. If you remove or block a friend, the content no longer appears in their app.

If you never use the friends feature, none of this information is created.

3. Information sent when you use the contact feature

Only when you use the in-app contact feature, the following information is stored on servers managed by the Operator.

• An anonymous user ID (issued automatically; it is not linked to your name or identity)
• The text of your message
• A push notification token used to notify you of replies

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to notify you of replies.

4. Analytics

To improve the App, we use Google Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring) to collect the following.

• Records of actions such as launching the App, viewing screens, and starting or completing an OAZUKE session
• Crash reports and performance measurements
• Device model, OS version, approximate region, and an identifier issued per app installation

This information is used only for statistical analysis and contains nothing that identifies you personally, such as your name or email address.

5. Advertising

The App may show advertising from Google AdMob when used for free. No advertising is shown if you have a Premium subscription or purchase.

To deliver advertising, AdMob may obtain information such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). We ask for your permission in the App before this identifier is used. If you decline, you can still use every feature of the App; the advertising you see simply will not be tailored to your interests.

You can change this permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your device.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not share collected information with any third party except where required by law. However, external companies may obtain information for the analytics and advertising purposes described in sections 4 and 5.

7. Service providers

The App uses cloud services provided by external companies in order to operate the friends and contact features, manage in-app purchases, analyse usage, and deliver advertising. We contractually require these companies to protect information to a standard equal to or higher than this policy.

What these companies receive is limited to an anonymous user ID and the information described in this policy. No information that identifies you personally, such as your name, email address, or phone number, is passed to them.

8. Purchases

All purchases in the App are processed through Apple's App Store. The Operator never receives your credit card number or other payment details.

In order to correctly reflect what you have purchased, we manage an anonymous user ID together with your purchase details (the item purchased and the expiry of your subscription).

9. Notifications

The App may use push notifications, for example to let you know when your OAZUKE session is complete. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App's settings or in your device settings.

10. Deleting your information

Information on your device is removed by deleting the App. If you would like information sent through the contact feature to be deleted, please let us know via the in-app contact feature.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
